"NAME YOUR TEAM" WINNERS ANNOUNCED

Congratulations to the winners of the Name YOUR Team competition.
 
The following state-based winners secured a Lifetime Ticket to their ABL state team home games and are the first ever ABL Foundation Fans. The winners:
  • Adelaide - Justin Millar (Also Major Prize winner)
  • Brisbane – Wade Cubbin
  • Canberra – Raye Lee
  • Melbourne – William Fenton
  • Perth  - Ryan O’Toole
  • Sydney – Angela Flaherty
Justin Millar (from Adelaide) won the trip for two to the 2010 MLB All-Star Game - and will set off later this year for the trip of a lifetime.
Thanks to all who entered the competition - final names will be announced in coming months.

Victoria Aces

The Aces is the senior baseball team representing the state of Victoria in the Australian Claxton Shield baseball competition 2009/10.

The Claxton Shield is this season being delivered by the Australian Baseball League, which will transform the MLB-backed competition into a professional national league to start up in October 2010.
 
This interim website will keep you up to date with Claxton Shield news and updates on the new league prior to the Australian Baseball League going on-line in coming months.
